General Studies

The Associate of Science degree in General Studies offers students unsure of their career plans a flexible program comprised of the traditional general education foundation required in most four-year colleges and universities. This two-year program of study includes basic courses in mathematics, writing, social sciences, humanities and computer literacy. Additionally, this sequence develops analytical, problem solving and communications skills necessary for academic, professional and personal success.

In addition to required courses, the program allows you to choose from a variety of elective courses designed to provide insight into different career and educational options as you prepare for graduation. Graduates are prepared for immediate entry into the workforce and to pursue their Bachelor’s Degree.
