Software Development
The Software Development degree is designed for
individuals who have practical experience in the computer industry and
who are interested in a degree oriented toward one or more facets of the
software development process, a broader scope of computer programming,
or specializing in project management. Participants will acquire a solid
understanding of software quality and management of the development
process. (Those with little formal exposure to the field may acquire
the appropriate preparation by taking some of our computer science and
math courses prior to enrolling in the degree program.)
The Software Development degree program is designed
to provide a strong knowledge base in computer science, mathematics,
project and quality management, and software engineering. Graduates will
develop a proficiency in methods of defining software requirements, and
understanding of software design, construction, testing and maintenance.
