Getting Help

Home

If you need to contact the webmaster for help in a certain area, there are a few tips that will help get you the answers you need as fast as possible.

  1. When explaining the problem, explain it as you would to someone who has never seen your site before.
Explain everything out in detail and don't leave anything out. That way the webmaster has all he needs upfront to help you, especially if your page has unique needs.

  2. If your request involves a specific page, ALWAYS include the address of the page(s).
Always. Again, there are hundreds of pages in the website, so referring it by name or description may not be enough. You'd be surprised how much time is saved by copying and pasting the address from the browser into your email.

  3. Allow for time if your request is time sensitive.
The webmaster will try to answer each request as soon as possible, often as soon as the same day, but that isn't always possible. Allow a 48 hour window for a response if your request is time critical.

You can reach the webmaster by email at sukeforth@dwc.edu or by phone at x6677.
