All the hard work in the world won't make your page useful if users can't get to them. Proper navigation gets users to the page they want in a logical way with the fewest jumps possible.

Nav bars are handled by the automatic scripting that runs the site. If you have something that you think should be included, ask the webmaster for assistance.

Top Nav Bar

The top nav bar (which is also the menu on the DWC home page,) is for major categories and pages. Consult the webmaster before creating any new pages or sections that you would consider significant enough to be included here.

Side Nav Bar

The side nav bar contains major and minor categories related to the section it resides in. This can fit a good number of links, but care should be taken to assure that it doesn't become overcrowded. Ask the webmaster about any changes.

Other

Currently there are two sections on the home page that are updated regularly with news and events, the news box in the lower left and the 'bullet' banner in the lower right.

If you think you have a news story that warrants being displayed on the home page, consult the PR Director.

If you have a major event to be advertised and you would like to learn about the possibility of having a bullet, contact the webmaster. (Notice: Very limited availability.)
