SCOPE: Many individuals believe that animals are being exploited for medical research. The debate ensues over whether animals should be entitled to basic rights and should not be treated as the resources of humans. Humans should not be able to justify the use of animals for food, experiments, product testing, clothing, or entertainment purposes. The purpose of this pathfinder is to serve as a guideline for the student in locating library resources on the topic of animal rights. It is not intended as a comprehensive listing, but as a random sampling of the many types of resources that are available in the library.
