Scope: Communication in organizations encompasses all the means, both formal and informal, by which information is passed up, down, and across the network of manager’s and employees in a business. (Malonis, Encyclopedia of Business)Effective memos, reports, and presentations should include concise, clear language easily understood by all employees yet still conveys the message.
The purpose of this pathfinder is to serve as a guideline for student research. It is not intended as a comprehensive listing of all materials in the library on this topic, but as a selective sampling of the many types of resources available.
