Domestic Violence

SCOPE:  Domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women and accounts for more visits to the hospital emergency room than car accidents, muggings, and rapes. (CQ Researcher)  Many communities have counseling facilities that help victims discuss their problems, but many cases still remain undetected and the cycle of violence continues. Advocates agree that a national campaign is needed to fight domestic violence. This pathfinder will focus on specific resources that will provide an in-depth analysis of the subject of domestic violence and will serve as a guideline for student research.
