Ralph Baer talks about his career, covering 65 years of active development and production of commercial and military electronics resulting in 150 issued patents world-wide and many inventions — including the home videogame which he created while he was at Sanders Associates — as well as Baer's involvement with new product development that continues to this day.

  Sean Donnelly of Missionary Air Group speaks to Prof. Laurie Gordy’s Intro to Sociology class.

His organization, Missionary Air Group, performs med-vac flights and delivery of emergency aid to the Mosquito people of rural Honduras.

  
Jennifer McDonald, Nicholas Trapasso, and Brian Tompkins presented their paper, "Ultrasound-Guided, Automated Cannulation of Central Veins: Mating medical imaging, machine vision and haptic robotics” at the Medicine Meets Virtual Reality annual conference in February. They created an automated robotic arm combined with sonographic imaging that allows physicians to work hands-free. This is a similar presentation they made for the DWC community.  

Aeronautical engineering undergraduates Priti Bhatnagar, Sonja Crowder, and Christopher McInnis made a presentation similar to this one at the Engineering Design Graphics Division of the American Society for Engineering Education's midyear meeting in San Diego in January, 2007. Every other presenter at this conference was either a professor or PhD student.
