Pathfinder: Marriage and the Family

Scope|Subject Headings|Overview Sources|Circulating Books|Periodicals, Journals & Trade Publications

SCOPE: The concept of the perfect family has changed. Divorce rates are higher than ever before, and many people are still unmarried. Many children live with one parent and some live with same sex parents. Economic conditions often force both parents to work, leaving children without parental guidance for a large part of their day. The purpose of this pathfinder is to serve as a guideline for students in locating library resources on this  topic. It is not intended as a comprehensive listing, but as a selective sampling of some of the many types of resources available in the library.

SUBJECT HEADINGS

Books dealing with marriage and the family are listed in the Baddour Library's online catalog under the following subject headings:

Family
