Scope: Henri Matisse is considered the greatest and most influential artist of the 20th century. He was both a sculptor and illustrator known for the technique of fauvism which focuses on the flatness of the picture and the abstract purity of line.
The purpose of this pathfinder is to serve as a guideline for student research. It is not intended as a comprehensive listing of all the resources available in the library, but as a selective sampling of the many types of resources in the library.
