SCOPE:  Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) causes the brain to send a message that something is wrong and requires immediate attention. This leads to obsessional worrisome thoughts and repetitive compulsive behaviors. (Nevid, Abnormal Psychology in a Changing World) The purpose of this pathfinder is to serve as a guideline for students in locating resources that will provide an in-depth analysis of this topic.
