Scope|Subject Headings|Overview Sources|Circulating Books|Periodicals, Journals & Trade Publications|Web Sites

SCOPE: In today’s society religion still plays an important role in everyday life. As we go about our daily activities with hustle and stress, many of us seek out some sort of solace and meaning for our existence. Especially in times of war or crisis, religion may often provide the comfort that many of us need. Yet, there are still questions and controversies raised over whether religion should be influencing our society, our schools, religion, politics, and even economic issues. The purpose of this pathfinder is to serve as a guideline for student research. It is not intended as a comprehensive listing of all the resources available in the library on this topic, but as a selective sampling of the many types of materials available.
