SCOPE: Psychology plays an important role in the mental preparation of athletes. Sports psychologists assume the role as mentor to help foster positive attitudes that enhance performance. The purpose of this pathfinder is to serve as a guideline for student research. It is not intended as a comprehensive listing of all the resources available in the library, but as a selective sampling of the many types of resources available.
