SCOPE: The term statistics refers to the
mathematics of gathering data and the approaches used in
describing and analyzing numerical
information.(Rosenberg,Dictionary of Business and
Management) The purpose of this pathfinder is to serve
as a guideline for student research in locating library
resources on the topic of statistics. It is not intended
as a comprehensive listing, but as a selective sampling
of the many types of materials available in the library.
Subject covered include business and financial
statistics, airline statistics, as well as materials on
general statistics.
