1. Basic telephone service is included in your room as part of your Technology Fee. Basic service includes calls to other campus phones and local calls to exchanges in Nashua, Derry, Hollis, Merrimack, Milford, Nashua, Pelham, Salem, and Tyngsboro, MA.

2.  Access to long distance calling, including 800 and 888 service, is available through the use of a Personal Authorization Code (PAC). A PAC is assigned by Daniel Webster College and will be activated upon receipt of this Agreement. A PAC will allow you to directly dial any number in the United States.

3. Each student is responsible for all calls charged to his or her PAC number. If a PAC number is lost, stolen, or compromised in any way, notify the Business Office immediately (extension 6530). The PAC number will be deactivated and a new PAC number will be issued.

4. An itemized billing statement will be sent each month to the student’s on-campus post office box. Payment in full must be made within thirty (30) days of the statement date. Accounts with outstanding balances will be subject to deactivation of the PAC number. Unless special arrangements are made, service will be discontinued on all outstanding balances in excess of $150. There is a $25 fee to reactivate phone service.

5. Unauthorized use of the telephone system constitutes theft of service and will result in appropriate discipline. Although your PAC number is not needed for 800 service, please note that access to 900 numbers through 800 switching will be monitored by the College’s telephone switch and appropriate charges, including a surcharge, will be levied. Your attention is directed to the “Community Policies” in the Student Handbook.

6. Telephone problems can be reported to the College switchboard (extension 0). Questions concerning your account should be directed to the Business Office.

By my signature on this Agreement, I agree to pay Daniel Webster College for all charges made with my Personal Authorization Code (PAC) and for all telephone-related charges. I agree that any services provided by Daniel Webster College may be terminated for non-payment of invoices, for misuse of the telephone system, or for any other reason deemed valid by Daniel Webster College. I realize that I am responsible for all telephone charges that accrue to my PAC number, including the cost of any charges due for non-payment of the bill, including reactivation fees.
