President's Biography

President's Biography

President Michael Diffily brings a wealth of experience in higher education to Daniel Webster College. Before joining DWC in January 2011, Dr. Diffily was Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at Lincoln College of New England in Hartford, Connecticut. He served for 14 years as Associate Dean of the Graduate School at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Diffily was also Vice President and Dean of Student Affairs at Labouré College in Boston, Massachusetts. Following his tenure at Brown, Dr. Diffily was named Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at Gibbs College in Cranston, Rhode Island and helped the institution gain degree-granting authority. He earned his bachelor's degree at Brown, a master's degree at the University of Rhode Island, and his PhD. at Boston College.
