You can become an airline manager, usually starting out as a lead, then working your way up to the management department within a few years. 4. Can I take any flight operation courses while enrolled in DWC's aviation management program?
You are eligible to take elective courses for credits, in which you may take flight operation courses. However, DWC's flight program is often at capacity with flight operation student majors, so it may typically be difficult for aviation management students to enroll in flight labs.

  9. What makes the aviation management program at DWC better than taking any other business course at another college?
DWC's aviation management program gives you hands-on knowledge as to what to expect in the aviation industry, whereas other colleges typically give you required business and management skills, but not the aviation background. DWC requires a series of business courses along with management courses that will enable you to become a manager not only in aviation, but also in virtually any other industry.

  10. Why do some students switch their major to aviation management after being in the flight program?

Some DWC students switch their majors to Aviation Management because of the cost of the flight program. DWC's flight program is very challenging and dedication is required for success in the program. DWC's aviation management degree is an excellent alternative.
