Women in Aviation Weekend
Women that have registered for the Ace Camp Overnight can also register
to join us 2 days early for Women in Aviation Weekend!
Have you ever:
- Pictured yourself flying for a major airline, a corporation, or
possibly flying for the military?
- Wondered how fantastic it feels to fly a plane?
- Wondered what career options are available for women aviators?
- Wanted to hear from successful women aviators about their paths
to success, and the hurdles they overcame along the way?
- Wanted to know the steps to take to turn your aviation dreams into
reality?
If you answered yes to these questions....
Join us on Saturday and Sunday, August 2 & 3, 2008 for a special
weekend, devoted exclusively to "Women in Aviation." Sponsored by Daniel
Webster College and our industry partners.
Here's just a sampling of what we have planned for this special
weekend:
- Meet with members of the 99's, the international organization for
"Women Who Love to Fly!". Hear from them the paths they have followed
as women in aviation.
- Enter a drawing for the opportunity to win a flight in a specialized
aircraft, such as an aerobatic plane, or possibly a seaplane!
- Meet with current women pilots, currently flying commercial, corporate,
and military aircraft. Talk to them to learn about the broad range of
career options available to you today!
