When you
enter college, do you sign up for one type of class and continue to
take that class for the whole four years you attend? Then why would
you want to fly
only one type
of aircraft in only one type of setting
during the
entire course of your flight training?
We
at Daniel Webster College feel that it is critical for students to
become familiar with a variety of aircraft and to be proficient in every
one. DWC offers one of the most dynamic aircraft fleets in collegiate
aviation. We feature standard trainers, gliders,
complex aircraft and multi-engine aircraft in our day-to-day training.
We set the standard for which other programs are based on. When a
student graduates, they can be confident in knowing that they can not
only fly in visual and instrument conditions as the FAA requires, but
they also know the principles behind flight, unusual attitude recovery,
energy management, micrometeorology, crew resource management, and
complex multi and single engine operations. These standards for our
training are now being demanded by airlines and flight divisions of
other collegiate programs... they are playing catch-up while we are
continuing the mature and established program as we have had for more
than 10 years.
Each
aircraft has a special training assignment and usage, please explore
further to learn more about each type.
