A
crucial part of the training curriculum at Daniel Webster College is
learning how to manage and cope with emergencies. Every student will
practice managing system malfunctions and develop the ability to handle them
in a safe and efficient manner. For safety and flexibility our “fleet” of
flight simulators is used for most of this emergency training.
Daniel Webster College possesses three Elite iGate advanced flight
simulators. These
simulators can be configured as one of many single engine or multi-engine
aircraft models. In addition, the Elite iGate simulators are used for
training advanced instrument flying procedures and Cockpit Resource
Management for flight crews. Each simulator is equipped with real-time
plotting systems for evaluation of accuracy of flight courses, approaches,
holds, and any other combination of precision navigation that advanced VFR
or IFR flight demands.
