Internships
Communications,
Creativity, Leadership Skills --
What Else Do You Get?
You Get Involved
If
communications skills rank #1 among hiring criteria, what's the runner-up?
Relevant work experience!
As an intern,
you'll work on management and leadership tasks for real organizations.
You'll be involved in solving business problems and finding real, workable,
results through our Campus Leadership Experience, as well as through event
management; service learning programs; management, leadership and sport
management practicums, and our consultancy-based capstone courses.
Even in our
functional courses, such as accounting, marketing and human resource
management, you'll work on actual business problems, often in teams, putting
classroom theory into practice.
Here's what DWC
internship sites have to say about our students:

"I
interned with Sanders, a company with thousands of employees. In the
past, Ive worked for small companies, but this was the first chance
Ive had to work for a large corporation. Now I know the type of
environment and the type of work I enjoy. Its great to have that
direction as I start my career.

"I'll
be doing my internship this summer, working with a sport management
