Daniel Webster College

Office of Academic Affairs

Graduates in Cap and Gown, Male and a Female with Honor CordThe Office of Academic Affairs works with each of the academic divisions and the Directors of the Library, Academic Support, Registrar, Continuing Studies, and Information Technology Services to provide support for the students and faculty of Daniel Webster College.

The mission of the Office is to ensure that Daniel Webster College provides the strongest educational programs for the students through its divisions and faculty.

Students who have special academic issues or requests are encouraged to work with their academic advisors as their primary contact. The Academic Affairs Office may evaluate such circumstances if further questions arise or if that level of approval is required.  Some examples may include: approval to enroll for extra loads, enrolling in evening Continuing Studies courses during the first two years, special waivers of pre-requisites or other program requirements, and administrative withdrawals.  All requests and issues are reviewed on the basis of what makes the best academic sense for the student and follows the academic policies of the college.

The Office of Academic Affairs ensures that academic policies are preserved. Information regarding academic honors, as well as applications for Alpha Chi, and various scholarships are managed through this office.  The Dean is responsible for maintaining records of academic dishonesty and providing logistical support for academic contracts.
