Business Management

The Business Management degree program is designed to help students develop the knowledge and skills used for general administration in business management, general management, and marketing management.

Program Objective

At the completion of the Bachelor of Science degree program in Business Management, graduates should have the necessary knowledge, skills, and aptitude to competently and ethically function as managers in a variety of for-profit and not-for-profit organizational settings and should have the necessary preparation to continue toward a master's degree in business.

Program Learning Outcomes:

Students should be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of and be able to apply the fundamental aspects of effective organization administration, including the specific skills needed in a successful team based environment.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and be able to apply the knowledge and skills required for effective decision making through analysis and evaluation that addresses practical business problems in a variety of organizational environments
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and be able to apply the multiple approaches that may be used to achieve a competitive strategic advantage in an increasingly global organizational environment.
