Program Educational Objectives

The Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems helps students respond to the demand for business employees with the skills and knowledge necessary to operate effectively in today’s rapidly expanding hi-tech business world. Graduates will be prepared for entry level positions in organizations that see technology as a way to achieve competitive advantage in the markets in which they operate.

Program Learning Outcomes:

Graduates of the Management Information Systems Program at Daniel Webster College should be able to:

  • Apply technology, business management, marketing, and financial principles in the development and operation of information systems;
  • Undertake professional careers in the expanding information systems field;
  • Continue their professional, personal, management, and interpersonal skills and engage in lifelong learning, including post graduate education;
  • Continue to develop into a highly regarded member of their information systems/management work teams by managers and peers.
