Science majors Jon Chouinard and Katie Lent began the first practicums of
the new major this January. Jon, whose focus within the major is on
the study of political science, is working on community case studies in
the Nashua office of Congressman Charlie Bass. Katie is following
her interest in history by working on educational programming and
presentations at the Manchester Millyard Museum. Both social science
majors are "taking the classroom into the world" by applying their study
