Students may request tutors for all general and major courses. Peer tutors are chosen from among the student body by the Deans of the schools of study, based on their academic records and the recommendations of their instructors. All peer tutors receive special training, and tutoring is provided in both group and one-on-one settings. Tutoring in math and science subjects is available through the Math/Science Support Center, while writing tutors are available through the Writing and Academic Skills Center. The School of Aviation Sciences offers one-on-one academic tutoring as well as the opportunity to work with a tutor in the simulation labs.
