FBLA Gateway to Daniel Webster College
As part of the Daniel Webster College and Future Business Leaders of
America's initiative, this scholarship is developed to enhance the leadership and
business-type skills through team work, theoretical and practical
learning. The
FBLA Gateway scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding incoming
first-year student who has participated in FBLA during his/her high
school years. The FBLA Gateway scholarship is a $2,500 renewable
scholarship worth $10,000 over four-years; it MAY be combined with other
merit scholarships.
To qualify:
- Be nominated by your high school guidance counselor
- Must have a high school GPA of at least a 2.75
- Must have a combined SAT score of 1000 or above on the math and
critical reading sections or an ACT composite score of 21 or higher
- Must be an active FBLA member
- Must be accepted as a full-time first-year student for the
2008-2009 academic year
To apply:
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a FBLA advisor confirming
active participation and reasons why you are qualified
