Full-Time Undergraduate Admissions
To be considered for full-time undergraduate admission to DWC, you should have completed, or be completing, a program of study from an accredited high school. Applications for admission are accepted for both the September (Fall) and January (Spring) semesters. Students considering programs of study for the Bachelor of Science degree are encouraged to complete the following course of study at the secondary school level: four years of English, three years of mathematics (including algebra I and II, geometry and trigonometry), two years of social studies, and one year each of natural and physical sciences. All students are strongly encouraged to complete four years of mathematics. It is anticipated that students will enter DWC with basic computer literacy, including word processing and use of the Internet.
Multiple factors are considered during the application review process. The strength of your high school record is usually the best indicator of your potential for success at DWC. Also considered are your standardized test scores, personal qualities, achievement, motivation for learning, and capacity to contribute to and enrich the College community.
Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis. Efforts are made to accommodate qualified students until our class size limits are reached. Applications are reviewed as soon as all required materials have been received. Students are informed of the College's decision soon thereafter.
