Rocco Appointed To Keene Swamp Bats Coaching Staff

Chicopee, Mass. – The Keene Swamp Bats of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) have filled out their coaching lineup.

First-year Coach Marty Testo announced this week that the Swamp Bats have hired Daniel Webster College assistant Mike Rocco, a 2007 graduate of Bryant University, as the team's second assistant.

Rocco, 23, was a four-year starter at first base at Bryant and is the school's career leader in at-bats (803) and games (204), and third in hits (220).

The Swamp Bats open their 11th New England Collegiate Baseball League season against Holyoke on June 7 at Alumni Field.
