Moseley, McKie Named To GNAC Weekly Honor Roll


Daniel Webster men’s basketball guard Ray McKie of the Bronx, N.Y. and women’s basketball forward/center Erin Moseley of Sterling, Mass. have been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Honor Roll. The award was announced by the conference office.

In helping her Eagles to a 3-1 mark last week, Moseley averaged 14.5 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 1.5 assists per game. She hit for 46% (22-48) from the floor and 67% from the free throw line.

Moseley notched 12 points, 14 rebounds, and a game best six blocks in a 66-64 road victory over Eastern Nazarene on November 28th, 14 points in a 65-64 home win over Regis November 30th, and added a game high 24 points and 15 rebounds in a 58-51 road win at Lyndon State in the consolation game of the Lady Hornet Tournament December 3rd.

Moseley also continued her climb up the Eagles' all time leader boards. She notched her 700th point against Regis to move her to seventh all time in program history. She also moved into 10th place all time in career rebounds where she currently stands at 419.

In helping the men’s team to a 2-0 week, McKie averaged 18.5 points and 12 rebounds per outing, shooting 53% (16-30) from the floor. McKie notched 13 points and six rebounds in an 81-74 road victory over Anna Maria November 28th and added a game high 24 points and added six rebounds in a 99-88 conference opening win over Albertus Magnus.

The award was the second this season for McKie, who was named GNAC Rookie of the Week November 28th.

DWC returns to Vagge Gymnasium Thursday, December 7th as they host longtime intrastate rival New England College. The women’s-men’s doubleheader begins with the women tipping off at 5:00 p.m. with the men to follow at 7:00 p.m.
