Moseley, McKie Again Named To GNAC Weekly Honor Roll
For the second straight week,
Daniel Webster women’s basketball forward/center Erin Moseley of Sterling,
Mass. and men’s basketball guard Ray McKie of the Bronx, N.Y. have been
named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Honor Roll. The award was
announced by the conference office.
In helping her Eagles to a 1-1 mark last week, Moseley averaged 17
points and eight rebounds per game. She notched a game high 23 points,
shooting 8 of 12 from the floor, 7 of 8 from the free throw line, and added
nine rebounds in an overtime loss to New England College December 7th.
Moseley followed with 11 points and seven boards in a win over Newbury
December 9th.
McKie was a bright spot in the Eagles' 0-2 week, averaging 15.5
points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals. He notched 14 points (6-7 ft), and
three rebounds against New England College on December 7th and added 17
points and three steals in a loss at Emerson on December 9th.
The men's team returns to action Wednesday, December 20th for a special
exhibition game against Hamamatsu University of Japan, beginning at 3:00
p.m. The exhibition will mark the first international opponent of any kind
to play an Eagle program.
The women's team returns to action Thursday, January 4th as they face
Skidmore in the annual Goombay Shootout, played in Nassau, Bahamas.
