Jackson Makes It Three Straight For Eagle GNAC
Rookie Of Week Honors

(Nashua, N.H.) – The early accolades continue to roll in for the Daniel Webster men’s basketball program.

The Eagles program was honored with its third successive Great Northeast Rookie of the Week honor as newcomer Tim Jackson was named recipient of the award. In the Eagles lone outing last week, a loss to St. Joseph's (Maine), Jackson notched a game high 24 points shooting 8-of -21 from the field, hit a three pointer, was a perfect 7-of-7 at the free throw line, dished out six assists and added a game best four steals in 26 minutes of action.

Jackson joins teammates Arjok Guguai of Manchester, N.H. and Chris Hanson of Salem, Mass. who earned the honors on December 4th and November 22nd, respectively.

Through six games, Jackson is averaging 11.3 points per outing (third on the team), leads the team in assists at 4.83 per game and steals at 2.0 per game, and is adding 2.0 assists.

The Eagles, 3-3 overall and 1-1 in GNAC play under the direction of first year Head Coach Jeremy Currier, are gearing up for one of the bigger games in Eagle program and College history. The Eagles will travel to Hanover, N.H. this coming Saturday to meet Ivy League member Dartmouth College in a 7:00 p.m. matchup. Not only a first ever meeting between the two programs, the game also marks Daniel Webster’s first every Division I opponent in any regular season sporting event in the College’s history.
