Lasell Downs Eagles
Nashua – Jamie Crawford (Coral Springs, Fla.) led five players in double
figures with a game high 24 points, going 10 of 13 from the field with four
three pointers guiding Lasell past host Daniel Webster, 105-73 in GNAC men’s
basketball action Thursday night at Vagge Gymnasium.
Jose Guitian (Miami, Fla.) added 21 points and eight rebounds as the Lasers
moved above .500 improving to 9-8 overall (6-4 GNAC). Jude Biton (Hyde Park,
Mass.) added 15 points, Corey Godfrey (Cambridge, Mass.) notched 14 and Brad
Caravoulias (Dracut, Mass.) chipped in with 10.
Adam Landry (Vernon, Conn.) led the Eagles (3-13, 1-10 GNAC) with 14 points,
while A.J. Hemingway (Staten Island, N.Y.) added 11 and Joe Prince
(Woodbridge, Va.) kicked in 10.
Lasell led from end to end shooting 51% on the night. Crawford notched 18 in
the first half and Guitian added 17 as the Lasers streaked out to a 29-17
lead over the first 10 minutes and built a 59-37 halftime cushion.
Tim Jackson (West Henrietta, N.Y.) added eight points for the Eagles, who
return to action Saturday hosting Albertus Magnus at 3:00 p.m. in a GNAC
contest. Lasell hosts Suffolk Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
