Saints Down Eagles, 83-61

(Boston, Mass.) - Levi Smith led four players in double figures with 19 points and pulled down 15 rebounds, while Zach Luster added 17 points leading Emmanuel past Daniel Webster, 83-61 Monday night at the Jean Yawkey Center.

Ray McKie led the Eagles (4-11, 2-9) with 20 points and added four boards, while Dan Haynes notched 12 points, six boards, and Toby Jiminez chipped in with 11 and four assists.

Mack Spellman added 16 to the Saints (7-11, 6-3) attack, while Rob Williams-Hinton notched 11 and dished out seven assists.

The Saints broke open a tight game at halftime, leading 33-32, by shooting 53% in the second stanza, outscoring the Eagles, 50-29. Emmanuel finished with large advantages in rebounding (49-30) including 14 on the offensive glass, and points in the paint (42-28).

The Eagles return to action Wednesday when they visit Western New England for a 7:00 p.m. tip off.
