Eagles Pull Out The Sheers For Black Sheep, 86-30

Tyler Smith (Moultonborough, N.H.) led five players in double figures with a game high 18 points and Adam Greeno (Brandon, Vt.) added 16 including four three pointers and pulled down seven rebounds as host Daniel Webster sheered Hampshire College, 86-30 in a non conference matchup Thursday night.

Ryan Middlemiss (Methuen, Mass.) added 15 points including going 7 of 9 from the field, dished out five assists and grabbed seven steals.

Dan Haynes (Downsville, N.Y.) and Toby Jiminez (Worcester, Mass.) added 13 points each. Chris Sannicandro (Upton, Mass.) pulled down a season best and game high 11 rebounds.

The Eagles (6-13) were never threatened, running out to a 17-0 lead and shot 47% in the first half while limiting the Black Sheep (2-12) to 24%. The Eagles forced 17 first half turnovers to lead 45-16 at the break.

Nathan Robinson led Hampshire with a double double of 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Scott Atherly added 10 points and nine boards.

DWC also finished with a 45-36 advantage on the boards.

The Eagles return to action Saturday as they travel to Suffolk for a 2:00 p.m. tip off.
