(With information from the Nashua Telegraph)
Nashua - The Daniel Webster College men’s ice hockey team came up just
short in its Northeast Collegiate Hockey Association title defense on
Sunday, falling 2-1 to Bates College at Conway Arena in Nashua.
Mike Collette scored the lone Eagles goal in the first period.
The Eagles, who finished the season 0-0-0 overall, outshot the Bobcats 28-27
in the title game, and held that lead through two periods until allowing the
tying goal 10 minutes into the third period.

the win.
It was the third victory of the season for the Bobcats over the Eagles
including a 2-1 overtime victory at Conway back on February 2nd.

assists to lead the Eagles to the win. Ricky Stewart, a Londonderry
graduate, added a goal and an assist, as did Collette and Brad Weiser. Andy
Smith stopped 24 shots to get the win.
