Eagles Picked Third In NAC Preseason Poll

The Daniel Webster men's lacrosse squad has been picked to finish third in
the eight-team North Atlantic Conference. Four-time defending champion Mount
Ida College has been chosen as the preseason favorite of the North Atlantic
Conference in a vote conducted by the league’s coaches. The Mustangs
received seven first place votes and 63 total points.
Mount Ida, which has yet to lose a conference game in four seasons, returns
eight starters including three first team all-conference selections from a
season ago.
Castleton was picked second after finishing 6-1 in league play for the
second consecutive season. The Spartans, who received one first place vote
and 57 points overall, return seven starters.
Maine Maritime, who returns five starters led by first team all-conference
junior attacker Garrett Lake, also received one first place vote.
