Becker Edges Eagles In OT In Season Finale
Leicester, Mass. - Brian Abrahamson notched three goals while Dana Boudreau,
Ryan Manning, Zach Horchar and Cullen Larkin added one each, but it was host
Becker that won the battle, edging the Eagles, 8-7 in overtime in a North
Atlantic Conference matchup Monday. It was the season finale for the Eagles,
who finished 3-8 overall (0-7 NAC).
The game was back and forth throughout and featured four ties.
Josh Fask led the Hawks (7-5, 3-4 NAC) with four goals and two assists. John
Bourque added two goals including the game winner with 1:18 to go in the
extra session.
Chris Leyland finished with 18 saves for the Eagles, while Peter Fellows had
10 stops for the Hawks.
The Eagles bid farewell to six seniors as part of the season finale
including Dana Boudreau (Chelmsford, Mass.), Jack Seamon (Oneida, N.Y.),
Mike Stevens (Cortland, N.Y.), Cullen Larkin (Bedford, N.H.), Jake Szczygiel
(Buffolo, N.Y.), Craig VanTuyl (East Aurora, N.Y.).
