Mike Lohr Named NECC Player of the Week

Nashua -- The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) yesterday announced that Daniel Webster College men’s soccer player Mike Lohr of Chepachet, R.I. has been named Conference Player of the Week.

Lohr, a senior midfielder, helped lift his team to 2-0 record on the week scoring two goals. Lohr opened the week with a single goal in a 2-0 victory at Regis College on September 22nd, and followed with the eventual game winner late in the first half of a 2-1 victory at Suffolk University September 24th.

Under the leadership of head coach Bill Lawler, the Eagles stand 3-4 overall having won three of their last four games after a 0-3 start. The Eagles return to action Thursday, October 2nd when they host Fisher College at 3:30 p.m.
