Moseley Masters Raiders As Eagles Gain Split

Nashua - Erin Moseley tossed a sterling five hitter allowing one run while striking out nine and walking one, guiding Daniel Webster past host River, 4-1 in the nightcap of a GNAC doubleheader, salvaging a split with the Raiders Saturday.

Kristina Rieger added a huge boost knocking in a single run in the third to give the Eagles a 2-1 lead and added a two-run triple in the fifth as the Eagles continued to enjoy their most wins in a season since 1998 as they moved to 8-23-1 overall (6-17-1 GNAC).

Sarah Mason added an RBI single in the top of the second to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead. Erin Hurd added two hits, while Moseley (4-9) chipped in with a double at the plate.

In the opener, Rivier pitcher Monica White stymied the Eagles with a two-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts as the Eagles fell, 8-0.

Rieger and Mikaelia Ramnanan registered the DWC hits. Lauren Coppola (4-7) took the loss.
