Eagles Volleyball Program Accepting Applicants for
Assistant Coach

The Daniel Webster volleyball program is accepting applications for assistant coach for the fall, 2008 season with consideration for appointment as men’s assistant coach.

The successful candidate will be expected to administer the program in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the athletics department, the New England Collegiate Conference, the Northeast Collegiate Volleyball Association, and the NCAA, to include all rules, regulations, guidelines, and standards for financial aid, eligibility, and recruiting.

Job Responsibilities:
Assist the head coach with all aspects of the recruiting process, preparation and organization of practices and matches, and on-court instruction during practices and matches. A high ethical standards and the ability to relate to and work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population are expected.

Requirements:
Volleyball playing experience at the intercollegiate level is required. Previous coaching experience is preferred. The successful candidate must be willing to obtain certifications in CPR/First Aid and other certifications as needed; the candidate must also have a valid driver’s license.
