Moseley Earns Third Team GNAC All Conference Honors
Junior
center Erin Moseley of Sterling, Mass. has been named to the Great Northeast
Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Basketball All Conference Third Team as selected by
the conference coaches.
Moseley, a co-captain who earned second team all conference accolades as a sophomore,
becomes just the second two-time all conference selection in program
history,. She joins Cheryl Arduino ’01, who earned first team accolades in 1999
and 2001.
“Erin is most deserving of this honor,” noted Eagle Head Coach Cori Hughes.
“She has always been a gifted offensive player, but she really shined this
season on the defensive end of the floor, as well. She not only led our team
in almost every statistical category, more importantly she led us as an
outstanding captain. We are very proud of all of Erin’s efforts and
achievements, and can’t wait to see what she has in store for next year.”

It has been a remarkable athletic career for Moseley, who is also a three
time all conference honoree in volleyball,
earning second
team accolades this past Fall.
Moseley, who averaged a double double in points and rebounding on the
season, led the Eagles in almost every major statistical category including
total points (328), points per game average (14.3), rebounds (252),
rebounding average (11.0), blocks (30), field goals attempted (299) and made
(117), as well as free throws (92) and free throw percentage (74%).
Moseley finished the season among the top 10 individually in the GNAC. Along
with finishing as the regular season rebounding champion, she finished fourth in free throw shooting, and fifth in
both scoring and blocked shots.
Moseley was a five-time weekly honoree of the GNAC having been named
GNAC
Player of the Week on January 30th, and was named to the Weekly Honor Roll
on four different occasions.
Starting all 23 Eagle contests and averaging 29 minutes per game, Moseley
reached double figures in scoring 18 times and double figures in rebounding
12 times. She notched a season best 24 points in a 58-51 victory over
against Lyndon State December 3rd, and 25 rebounds in a 44-40 victory over
Johnson & Wales January 27th.
Other notable Moseley outings included a 12-point, 14-rebound and season
high six blocks in a 66-64 win over Eastern Nazarene
November 28th, and an
18-point, 10-rebound outing in a 69-46 loss to then 20th ranked Emmanuel
February 10th. In that game, Moseley set a new DWC program and GNAC
individual game record going a perfect 14 of 14 from the free throw line.
Career-wise, Mosley has garnered 989 career points, placing her fifth all
time in program history. She will enter her final season in 2007-08 just 11
points short of becoming the fifth Eagle in program history to reach the
1,000-point mark. She also stands sixth all time at DWC in rebounds with
619.
The Eagles posted an 8-15
overall mark this past season.
