Erin Moseley of Sterling, Mass. has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.

In the Eagles recent 1-1 week, the junior forward averaged 15.5 points and a remarkable 21 rebounds per game. She knocked down a double double of 22 points, game high 17 boards including nine on the offensive glass, and added two assists and two steals in a 76-61 loss to Mitchell on January 25th. Moseley followed that performance with nine points, a DWC program game record 25 boards including 11 on the offensive side, and added two steals in a 44-40 victory over Johnson & Wales on January 27th.

Moseley has also been steadily climbing the ladder of the Eagles all time program record book as she moved up to sixth all time in rebounding at DWC with 544 and currently stands fifth in all time career points with 885.

Moseley’s honor is her fourth this season by the GNAC office and first major award. She has been named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on three previous occasions.

Under the guidance of sixth year Head Coach Cori Hughes, the Eagles stand 6-9 overall and 1-4 in GNAC play. The Eagles return to action Wednesday with a visit to Pine Manor College for a 6:00 p.m. GNAC match up.
