Pine Manor Tops Eagles, 66-50

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Pine Manor earned their first GNAC victory of the season with a 66-50 win over Daniel Webster College. Gator forward Amanda Dennis once again led the way scoring a game high 23 points.

Pine Manor junior Laura Cecil collected a double double scoring 14 points and pulling down 10 rebounds, she also added 6 assists on the night. A balanced scoring attack helped the Gators with Angelica Camacho scoring 16 points and freshman Andrea Lavigne added 11 points.

Daniel Webster was led by Brianna DeSeignora who scored 10 points. Erin Mosley added 10 rebounds and 7 points for the Eagles. The Gators used excellent defense to hold the Eagles to 26.9% shooting from the field for the game.

With the win Pine Manor improves to 4-15, 1-6 in the GNAC while Daniel Webster falls to 6-10, 1-6 in the GNAC. The Gators return to action this Saturday when they play host to neighborhood rival Newbury College. Tip Off is schedule for 12:00 PM.
