Eagles Cruise Past Hampshire, 61-15

Ashley Boyd (Hanson, Mass.) notched a game high 13 points and Erin Moseley (Sterling, Mass.) added 12 to lead Daniel Webster past visiting Hampshire College, 61-15 in non conference action Thursday night.

Brianna Johnson (Nashua, N.H.) added a career best 13 rebounds as the Eagles improved to 7-12 and halted a four game skid.

Briana DeSeignora (Medfield, Mass.), Jenny Ozug (Westport, Mass.) and Breanne DeMarco (Grand Island, N.Y.) added eight points for the victors. Nicole Conley (Hinesburg, Vt.) added eight rebounds.

DWC never trailed and held the Black Sheep (4-10) to two first half field goals and four points for a 34-4 halftime lead.

The Eagles shot 40% for the game while the Black Sheep shot 17%. The Eagles dominated on the boards to the tune of a 56-23 advantage.

The Eagles return to action Saturday as they host Emmanuel in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup beginning at 1:00 p.m.
