Emerson Topples Eagles, 61-43

Emerson (15-9, 7-4 GNAC) never trailed and had 11 of 12 players
score in defeating Daniel Webster (7-15, 1-9 GNAC) 61-43 Thursday night.
Lindsay DeStefano (Chepachet, R.I.) led the Lions with 12 points, 10 coming
in the first half when Emerson took a 36-14 lead. The lead stretched to 26
early in the second half as DeStefano hit a layup and Maude Okrah (Rutland,
Mass.) scored on a steal and layup for a 40-16 lead. Daniel Webster was
never to pull any closer than 18 points for the remainder of the contest.
Bri Papa (Camilus, N.Y.) was also in double figures for Emerson with 10
points. Erin Moseley (Jr., Sterling, Mass.) had a double-double for the
Eagles with 11 points and a dozen rebounds.
The Eagles close out the season hosting Saint Joseph's (Conn.) Saturday at
1:00 p.m.
