Worcester State Cruises Past Eagles, 68-30

(Lyndonville, Vt.) – Rachel Obugbela and Lindsay DelleChiaie notched 13
points each and Jamara Exilus added nine to pace Worcester State past Daniel
Webster, 68-30 in the opening round of the Lyndon State Lady Hornet
Tournament in Lyndonville, Vt., Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles (2-2) struggled throughout, shooting just 20% from the field for
the game including just 13% in the second half. Erin Moseley (Sterling,
Mass.) led DWC with eight points and eight rebounds, while Ashley Boyd added
six and Briana DeSeignora notched five.
25 turnovers were costly for the Eagles, leading to 26 Lancer points. The
Lancers (4-1) also dominated on the glass, outrebounding DWC 57-23 on the
afternoon.
The Eagles face host Lyndon State Sunday in the consolation game of the
tournament beginning at 12:00 Noon. The Lady Hornets fell to Maine Fort Kent
63-52 in the day’s second game.
