Nashua -- The duo of juniors Rachel Schelhorn (Lebanon, Conn.) and Erin Hurd (Centerville, Mass.) combined for four goals and three assists as the Daniel Webster College women's soccer team rushed past Southern Vermont College, 6-0 Saturday at Eagle Field.

Hurd notched two goals and set up two others, while Schelhorn added two scores and an assist as the Eagles (3-2, 2-0 NECC) won their third straight after a 0-2 start.

DWC dominated end-to-end, outshooting the undermanned Mountaineers (0-6) 31-1 overall and 21-1 on goal.

The Eagles built the 6-0 lead within the opening 40:11 and never looked back.

Schelhorn put DWC ahead at the 10:37 mark and Hurd followed at 20:29 taking a Schelhorn feed for a 2-0 lead.

Hurd returned the favor to Schelhorn in the 24th and Kira Clark made it 4-0 in the 33rd off a Hurd setup.

Hurd notched her second of the day in the 36th and Mikaela Ramnanen closed out the scoring in the 40th with an unassisted tally.
