Henniker, NH – New England College’s Veronica Hytner (St. James, N.Y.)
scored a goal and served up two assists leading the Pilgrims past the
visiting Daniel Webster College Eagles 4-0 Thursday afternoon. With the win
the Pilgrims even their overall record to 5-5-1, while the loss drops the
Eagles to 4-6-0 on the season.

putting the Pilgrims up 1-0 just 14 minutes into the game. Sophomore Katie
Haynes (Hudson, N.H.) would give the Pilgrims the 2-0 advantage scoring off
a nice pass from Hytner just ten minutes later. The Pilgrims would extend
their lead to 3-0 just before halftime as Hytner would score her first
collegiate goal unassisted at the 41:52 mark.
The Eagles would battle tough throughout the second half allowing just one
Pilgrim goal as senior Alex Sacco (Tewksbury, Mass.) would net a goal
assisted by Hytner at the 50:33 putting NEC up 4-0. Leading the way for
Daniel Webster was Rachel Schelhorn (Lebanon, Conn.) who finished with a
