1) Why do I have a health insurance charge
on my student bill? a). An
insurance waiver must be completed and returned for the insurance charge to be
credited. This waiver is only available on-line. Link to:

2) The financial aid amounts on my statement do not match the amounts on
my award letter. How come? a). This may be due to the administrative
fees that are deducted from you loan amount at the time of the loan.

3) My Workstudy Loan doesn’t appear as a credit on my tuition bill. When
will it be posted to my account? a). Fed Workstudy money is earned.
Students need to apply for a job on campus with payment issued to the
student via a bi-weekly payroll check. Your earnings can be posted to your student account
by completing the proper
authorization form at time of employment.
4) I have some questions regarding my financial assistance. a). Please
contact the Financial Assistance Office at 603-577-6590.
5) The flight course I was charged for is not the one I thought I'd
be taking: a). Please contact your advisor and/or the
Registrar’s Office @
603-577-6510.
6) Are there any other meal plans offered in addition to the 19 meals-a-week
plan? a). Yes. The college also offers a 15 or a 10 meals-a-week plan. Same price, different
options. More information is available from Aramark (603-577-6478)
dining hall services.
7) I’m in a townhouse, can I purchase the meal plan? a). Yes.
After clearance by the Student Accounts Office, you can notify
Residence Life of your meal plan
choice (19, 15 or 10 meals-a-week plan) to code your account.
8) I thought I was getting a flight scholarship – but it's not showing
on my account? a). The Financial Assistance office may not have
received the information they need from you to
process the scholarship. Or your eligibility for the flight scholarship
has changed. Please contact
Financial Assistance at 603-577-6590.
9) I’m a commuter, but I’d like to have a meal plan. a). You sure
can. Please contact
Aramark (dining hall services) directly for their various
commuter meal plan options. Their phone is 603-577-6478.
10) My room description is not the type I will be living in. a). Please
contact Residence Life to confirm your
housing assignment @
603-577-6580.
11) Can I charge my books to my student account? a). Yes. If your financial
assistance is an approved and in ready for disbursement status, and/or
your student account is a credit balance, you may obtain a book-slip
from the Student Accounting office. The bookstore accepts cash, checks,
money orders, and credit cards (MC, VISA & Discover). There are also local
banks where you can set up a checking account.
12) Will my security deposit be refunded? a). Yes, it will be refunded.
Refunds are available approximately one month after the end of the
academic year. Please note,
you are responsible for the common areas as well - please keep it neat!
13) I have been awarded a scholarship from a local business in my
community. When will this appear on my bill? a). The outside
scholarship will not appear on your account until the check has
been received by Daniel Webster College and is posted to your account.
We will notify you if the scholarship check needs your endorsement as
well.
14) I have a balance that is not covered by financial aid. Is
there a payment plan available? Yes, please visit
www.AFFORD.com/dwc.
